The Ohio State University College Of Engineering -Closing the Wealth Gap - TMJF
The Ohio State University Engineering Financial Literacy program is a hands-on workshop series offered through the CARE (Community, Access, Retention & Empowerment) Office in partnership with TMJF (The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation). The course is part of TMJF’s Closing the Wealth Gap initiative, powered by the Money Vehicle curriculum. It helps engineering students build practical financial skills, including budgeting, credit, taxes, investing, and understanding a paycheck, while also preparing them to serve as trained financial literacy ambassadors for local high school students. Students gain confidence in their own financial decision-making and develop leadership and communication skills through community-focused outreach.
